SRDC: Hard Hike: Indigenous Community, Waterfall

Why We Keep the Indigenous Community Hidden

Out of deep respect for the people and place, we choose not to publicly name or geotag the indigenous community you’ll visit. This is not a tourist attraction—it’s a living culture. By keeping the location discreet, we help protect their privacy, traditions, and autonomy, ensuring that any visits remain personal, respectful, and community-led. Only those who walk with genuine curiosity and care are invited in.

This area is rich in biodiversity, home to primary forestsmedicinal plants, and countless species of birds, insects, and mammals. It also plays a vital role in preserving water sources, regulating the local climate, and maintaining ecological balance.
